Bitter

Don’t get angry
It’s a waist of your time
It creates vinegar
Where you once had fine wine

Don’t get bitter
It lingers on for days
You’ll get so sour
Like a lemon with a face

Don’t feel insulted
Whatever you think is wrong
Get rid of the frowning
And whistle a happy song…

“Like a lemon with a face” made me laugh, and the entire swung my mood to the right place. Thank you!

Thank you very much for letting me know this! I wrote it to give myself a bit of a kick in a positive direction, because I was getting worked up about stuff I shouldn’t. It’s very nice to hear that it worked for you also!
